How to get white sports socks really clean?

I have some socks that I ware and they pick up the color of the lining in my tennis shoes...how do I get them really clean?





I have used powdered bleach in the wash, but not really much happens. These socks are thick cotton.

I put an ounce or two of shout in with a load of heavily stained socks along with bleach. Peroxide is also a great cheap way to remove stains. Put about half a cup in your wash load.
Reply:Hot water - Liquid bleach and your normal detergent.
Reply:add 1 cup of vinegar to your washload and your sox will be very clean.
