If pants was short after alteration, what should I do?

hi, this is my problem, I bought a jeans from one of the shop, they measured for me and ask me 36.5 ok, I look at the jeans that I am wearing, obviously very short, I not very sure about the inch, I said,"make it longer", the guy ask,"how long?" I said" make it 37."





but after one week I went to take my jeans, when I tried it on with sport shoe on, is look obviously short, I ask that guy, the guy keep saying that is not short, and all this all that giving me a lot of excuses, because that time was very busy, so I left with the short pant.





so my question in that situation can I request to make my shorten longer, obviously the jeans can't make it longer, if want to be longer, have to use a new jeans, which means the short jeans need to be throw away.





Now a days I brought the short jeans back, I can't wear it out, it short, and everytime when I look at the jeans I feel bad about the service of that guy and the shop.
