Is Jesus coming back?

Soonish? Within my life time? When he does come back will it be in a physical form or kinda wispy and ghostlike.

Also will he be dressed kinda contemporary or will he still go for the robes and sandals? Do you think he'd wear jeans and maybe a sports jacket? Shoes or sneakers? Will he still go for the long hair and beard look do you think or will he be more clean cut these days.

Where do you think he will come back to? If he lands (will he land or just pop back into existence?) back in his old stomping ground he's in for a shock.

Will he still be speaking in aramaic or will he be able to speak English....or Spanish? Or does he maybe know all languages ever?

Would he own a car, laptop, mobile phone?

Is Jesus coming back?
He will come IN GLORY to judge the living and the dead.
Reply:Sorry, now he speaks spanish, and mows lawns.

I see him weekly in the summer.
Reply:It's been 2004 years, he's not coming back.
Reply:He will come back in his resurrected body. He can no longer be a spirit, he is resurrected. He will come back wearing red robes. I don't know about the hair.

He is not in for a shock. You will be in for one, becuase the fancy world around you will be cleansed by fire, and half or more of your close friends will be missing if they don't qualify to stay. Many or most of the buildings will be destroyed.

And he isn't taking us anywhere. He is cleaning up the earth and we are staying here for the Millenium. We will go up and meet him, but come back down here and build (likely rebuilt) houses and inhabit them. We will plant gardens. There will be no contractors. We are suppose to build our own . We will plant gardens. If we are going to build houses, apparently we will be livining in families.

God made Eve for Adam when they were in the Garden of Eden, and that was in a higher state. So it is likely that marriage is at a higher level. No marriage or given in marriage in heaven. That appears to be an earthly ordinance, but appears to be the way it was intended, because Adam and Eve were married, before they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden, and would have remained married forever, if they hadnt been kicked out.
Reply:Hold on to your faith. It's in for a bumpy ride.
Reply:His sheep shall know him. We all know Good but many tend to cling to bad and revel in it they have there father those that wish to do good know there Father and will cling to him. Do you know who your brothers and sisters are. Yes you do. Do you know right from wrong. Yes you do. Good is of and from God and bad and evil is fro satan. We will know him know matter how he comes. He will come in GLORY.
Reply:The return of Jesus that was spoken of in the Bible already occurred long ago - A.D. 70 to be precise. The simplest explanation for that is that we call Jesus a liar if He in fact DID NOT return "by the end of His generation" as He said He would numerous times, such as in Matthew 24 (taken in conjunction with Luke 11:50).

Not to mention that in Acts 1:11, the disciples were PLAINLY told that they could expect the return of Jesus WITHIN THEIR LIFETIMES. And in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, evidently Paul ALSO expected to be alive for His return. These men, who were so in tune with the Holy Spirit, would not have expected it if it weren't true.

Again: Simply put: If these things DID NOT occur as Jesus Himself prophesied they would, then we call Him a liar and a false prophet. I don't know about you, but I would neither believe in nor worship a liar and a false prophet. If you want to call your Savior a false prophet and believe that He will come again, that's your choice.

The "return of Jesus" has been expected to be imminent for almost 2000 years now. The only time that it WAS imminent was in the first century, when He actually did return, but not only was Adolf Hitler supposedly the "Anti-Christ" (didn't happen; the Anti-Christ as spoken of in the Bible was the Emperor Nero, who reigned during the time of the tribulation period described in Revelation), most recently we were supposed to witness the "end of the world" in Y2K - that ALSO didn't happen.

The only time anyone can expect the return of Jesus Christ is INDIVIDUALLY when He comes to take you from this earth. As for it occurring in your lifetime, I guess you could say that it will, but it will be at the very end of your lifetime.

And as an individual event - NOT a global one.
Reply:Yes. He is coming back very soon. But He isn't going to appear on the earth as He did over 2000 years ago. He is going to come back for a brief second to take all His children home to live with him. He will come back like a thief in the night. He will come back when everyone least expects it.
Reply:In my bible study with Jehovahs Witnesses, The truths I learned from my studies thrilled me! The Bible truly became a treasure mine. Instead of the earth being destroyed at the Lord’s return, I learned that under God’s Kingdom rule it will be transformed into a paradise; that under Kingdom rule there will be only one religion throughout the whole world.

As a child I was taught that death was to be dreaded, since God tormented some people forever and ever in a flaming hell. Now in my Bible studies I learned that God torments no one in a hellfire, that Jesus spoke of death as a sleep, that people who have died the sleep of death will be resurrected and will live right here on earth. How often I had heard Jesus’ words at John 5:28, 29 read at funerals! But I never realized the wealth of their meaning until now. The fact that Jesus used the term “memorial tombs” (mnémeion) impressed me. Jesus did not use the two common words for grave in Greek, namely, taphos, meaning “grave,” or lakos, which means “pit” or “ditch.” I knew by this that those in the memorial tombs would come forth someday in a resurrection. What a thrill that was to me!

And, too, for the first time I saw that Jesus Christ himself prophesied about his second presence and that he gave a sign of many features to help us recognize the time of its fulfillment. These portions of the Bible were never read in church. The clergy usually preferred their own opinions and terrifying predictions of things to come. What a relief to be freed from misconceptions! Bible truth really does set one free from such superstitions and falsehoods, as Jesus said it would, at John 8:32: “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Reply:Jesus WILL come back to earth but what sucks is that no one knows. People say in 3000 AD for some reason I forget but its a good reason. I think Jesus would come back before the world would end so people can see the light before dieing. I think jesus would wear whatever he could find. He could show up anywhere but i think he will be born and angels will predict his forcoming and tell of his importance. He will speak all languages so he could reach everyone.
Reply:one thing for sure,if he is coming,he better be armed.man dont have spears anymore, they carry guns
Reply:Jesus is coming soon - maybe 50, 100 years - maybe tomorrow after brunch, who knows? The point is to be ready.

Don't worry so much about how He will come or what He will look like - this second time around, there will be no mistaking who He is or what He has come for.

"When the Son of Man comes in glory and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His throne of heavenly glory and all the nations will be gathered before Him" - Matthew 25:31
Reply:you foolish !you have now idea about Jesus the King of the Kings . He do no need the things you are saying... He will not come as a man anymore ... He is God Omnipotent... don't think about Jesus in your limited mind... he will come first in the clouds to rapture the elected than to destroy the wicked and star His kingdom in earth. Romans 10:9
Reply:if he was to stand up in a storm he would get blown away. yet nature is under is command. he is not tall his hair is black and shinning his eyes are hazel his cheek bones are not prominent. in the middle of his forhead is a flame. his skin does not have one mark or blemish on it his skin is like milk. he has very light and wispy peach hair growth on his top lip and chin not a full beard. i can assure you he is comming back on the direction of his father like a thief in the night. but lets hope we can fix it up before that happens
Reply:cold lithium you better watch out mate becasue he will cast you so deep into the lake of fire with no end. and no this is not a joke you sound very foolish. anyway to answer your question Jesus ia coming back and very very soon just late a look at this world today and yes in this generation but no mans knows the day or hour.
Reply:Act 1:11

11"Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."
Reply:Stop with this nonsense questions...Yes hesus is coming back...but nobody know when....The Bible say that God will came like a thief...when nobody expect to came
