I am a girl and love to watch football sportcenter cold pizza around the horn all them shoes...but i think that when the girls are talking about it its a little annoying to me!
What does everyone think of female sports broadcasters?
They are annoying, especially if it's a sport that they've never played. like football.
Reply:im 50/50 with that subject.. i love to play %26amp; watch football, but i dont think women should be sports broadcasters. Unless they absolutely know what they are talking about then why not?!
Reply:it adds a different "flava" to the sports commentating world. as long as what they're saying is fact, i guess it's not so bad. i wouldn't mind becoming a female sports broadcaster. any clue of where i should start?
Reply:I'm on the fence. On one hand, why can't a woman do it? On the other, the feel like charity cases when they talk. Like they're someone's daughter and it's not even like they say anything that the reagular sportscasters can't say....
I dunno.... 50/50 I guess.
Reply:I am cool with it.
Reply:i don't mind them but they've got to be hotter than what they have out there now
Reply:For the most part I would agree with you but when a female broadcaster actually learns the game, the history of the game, and can be insightful then I would enjoy listening to her.
Reply:I DON'T MIND IT, I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE ONE.
I LOVE WATCHING FOOTBALL,
Reply:pretty non-lesbians are less annoying, as long as they are not doing play-by-play or color commentary in football, baseball boxing, or basketball and golf (mens or womens). when i watch beach volleyball, i could care less.
Reply:I absolutely agree with you. It just doesn't seem right or natural for a woman to be broadcasting sports...The men know "whaz up" in sports...Let men announce sports!
Reply:I think that girls have every right to announce sports. I know what the heck I'm talking about and alot of women do! The thing with sportscenter and Cold pIzza is those annoucers are reading what writers tell them too. They have to do what the producers and directors tell them. They might not be the most qualified people but its tv and they have to go with what looks good.
Reply:I'm perfectly cool with it as long as the person knows what they're talking about (whether it be a man or a woman). Some women know their football better than some men do.
Reply:When it comes to football, none of the women I've seen are any good. Sorry if I sound sexist, but they are just window dressing.
Their comments are very contrived, and don't show any real insight into the game. They couldn't conduct a spontaneous interview with a player or coach if their lives depended on it. They ask things like "What does this win mean for you...?"
Reply:i think they are hot
