I ordered a sticking spray but it will not make it in time for my volleyball tournament. Any other solutions out there that I can buy at a sporting store? thanks!
What can I use so that my volleyball shoes do not slip while I play?
they make volleyball shoes with the rubber on the bottom... (there a yellowish brown color on the bottom..) those are made for that... Or whipe them on your socks =) thats what we did lol they invented washing mach. for a reason lol good luck on your games
Reply:Spit on the floor...that works, and during a match when you need something quick wipe the soles of your shoes on your socks...
Cheap %26amp; easy!
Reply:well just keep wiping them off on the bottom
Reply:all of the varsity girls and other ppl did this:
wipe ur foot with the inside of your shin (where the socks are)
just like after every play i would just do that
its kinda hard to explain:
just bring ur leg up to ur other leg like ur about to flatten ur foot on ur other knee but just wipe the bottom of your shoe on the sock below your knee pads. it eventually became a habit definitely made it less slippery
Reply:Bring wipe-socks.
Eastbay.com has some Mizuno volleyball shoes on sale at $39.99 or $59.99 if you have large feet.
You will feel the difference when you step on the court with Mizuno shoes... I used to have the same slippery issue with Nike shoes.
Reply:well use a sticky pad
or sit on the ground in a butterfly positiona and rub your shoes together really fast
this is one is kinda nasty but it works really good. lick your hand then rub the bottom of your shoe
Reply:Whenever my asics started doing that I would hairspray them. It works so well!!!! They don't slip at all. It almost works better than the spray. But definitely try the hairspray.
Reply:you can spray hairspray on the bottom but let it dry before touchin the dusty florr
Reply:Wipe them. Or just get shoes with more grip.
Reply:well in basketball and volleyball we ( my team ) spit on the floor, and then rub your feet in it ( i know it sounds disgusting but it works!!!)
Reply:i play volleyball %26amp; i have the same problem.
all you have to do is spray hairspray on the bottom of your shoes right before you play.
you will not slip at all and it will surprisingly improve your game.
good luck!!!
