Was thinking of buying the Nike + iPod Sport Kit, but can you use it with non-Nike trainers?

is it possible to attach the sensor to other brands of sport shoe? I want to buy this for my wife and she prefers 'proper' running shoes.

Yes you can. You can buy a pouch for it that either straps round your ankle or sits under the laces and holds the ipod thing.





Does she run normally with music? In which case it is a great present, however if she doesnt I would check that she would use it first (noone like getting a present you wont use!), some runners dont like running with ear phones in

Reply:yeah, like another person said, you can buy a pouch. I saw a pouch a couple of minutes ago on amazon.com...its for $6.99 and it makes the sensor fit into a little pouch and you lace this pouch in your shoe-laces. Here's the website:
