I'm curious about Spenco insoles...anyone with experience please take the time to read and answer!?

I've read pages online where they are referred to as "replacement" insoles. Does this mean that you remove the insoles that came with your shoes and then insert them, or do you put them on top of the original insoles? I'm looking for an extremely supportive insole. I do not like the look of sports shoes designed for walking, running, etc. even though this is the support I need. I prefer to wear Vans and similar shoes, even skimmers, though I kill the padding in these very quickly. I basically want an insole that will create the shell of these shoes with the support of a sports shoe.

Is this what I should purchase? How are they used?

To use these insoles you remove the original insoles.

They give the best cushion of any insole sold, and last longer too.

Try a pair to see if they will work for you.
Reply:Spenco insoles have lots of cushion and some are designed with more support than cushion in mind . . . the only problem you may encounter using them in Vans is the insoles may position you foot too high in the shoe and your heel will pop out of the back . . . there are other brands which may work better for you . . .
