Picnic, what footwear?

what is the best shoes to wear when going on a picnic? normal sport shoes, flip flops, sandals etc?

Reply:Whatever you feel comfortable in. I would do sandals or tennis shoes.
Reply:sneakers. the safest and most comfortable. Wearing socks will help then no worry about bug bites on ankles. You will be ready for an impromptu game of ball or Frisbee throwing. Hiking is a possibility.
