Places to shop in Berlin???

Last year I was at Hamburg, Germany, and I remembered just shops after shops with really incredible bargain for cloths. I bought a sweater for 9 euro, a pair of sport shoes for 9 euros, a new pair of jeans for 9 euros... I ended up with excess baggage on the way back. Is it possible to expect the same thing in Berlin in late January? I'm hoping to get a pair of new sport shoes and maybe a jacket...

Hi, I´m from Berlin. I like shopping at the Ku`damm. Sure , there are a lot of very expensive shops, but you can find also cheaper ones like "C %26amp; A" or "H %26amp; M" where you can get good jackets. To find a good pair of cheap sport shoes is not so easy. There you must have luck. Try it in one of the big Sport Shops like "Karstadt Sport" or "Intersport". It could be that they have special offers on the end of January. Have a good time here in Berlin.
Reply:If CHEAP is your main criteria try the Kottbusserdamm. Its in the district of Kreuzberg that is heavily populated by Turks.
