For people who live or visted Hong Kong, are the shoes being sold on the "Sports Shoe Street" cheaper than getting it in America (If they are, how much cheaper is it?)? Are they sold whole sale or is it retail? Thanks in advance!
About Hong Kong?
I would say depending on the brand, shoes would be cheaper by 30 to 50%. I bought a pair of Mizuno running shoes in Hong Kong for 500HKD (maybe $70CDN), but paid $160CDN for the same pair in Canada.
As for Quicksilver and Oneil, there are some in the street markets for very cheap, but I don't think they are genuine. They look pretty nice though...Most t-shirts and hoodies are more or less the same, genuine or fake...
Reply:yeh they mostly cheaper than compare w/ the US or Canada. the Sports Shoe Street is in Mongkok. on a street named Fa Yuen Street. they hv a lot small shops line up like a tourist spot now there. even HKnese visit there so often to pick their fancy 1. they sell not only normal sport's shoes. but also those special edition + Japan edition kind of stuffs. suggest u to walk thru the street b4 u buy as part of the shops wil be a bit cheaper.
n the brands that u said, not popular in HK at all.
