Where can i find a good sports shop?
Hello. Wiggle is quite a good online shop and they sell all sorts of products for running, cycling, swimming and hiking. I have put their link below. If you are after good running shoes I would recommend that you don't buy them from a generic sports shop that largely sell products on a fashion basis, although I am not saying all these shops are not worth a visit. You really need a shop where the staff know what they are talking about and can advise you properly about running shoes, their fit, support and pronation of your foot when running. Hope this helps.
Reply:grab a copy of a running mag from WHSmith's or Tesco/Sainsbury's and check out the advertisers. Phone around and ask if they perform a gait analysis. This will tell you what type of shoe that you require. Whether you require a cushioning/stability/motion control shoe will be highlighted by a gait analysis. Then you should be able to try a couple of shoes on the treadmill, allowing you to find a comfortable shoe that will perform well for you¬!
