Will these Skechers shoes look alright with cargo shorts?

So far I sport them with jeans but was wondering how they would look with cargo shorts this summer, should I invest in a different type of shoe for cargo shorts?

I am sorry to tell you , but do not wear the sketchers with cargo shorts. If anything find a pair of flip flops that you can wear with them. Flip flops can just about go with anything.

Reply:They look fine but I think your best bet to invest in some white shoes to go with cargo shorts. Perhaps a pair of K-Swiss shoes would make it look great.
Reply:I'd say - the natural ones yes. But the Cargos need to be mid or below the knee. The black one would be a bit heavy for shorts.


I have the little Puma Ferrari shoes that I wear with knee length cargos (so does hubby). They're a bit finer, but the same sort of thing. They look really good.

Reply:I'd suggest a simple pair of leather sandals. I would avoid the dressier strappy or slingback, but perhaps go with a flat/casual sandal.

Reply:I heard this guy on the radio complaining that cropped pants and cargo shorts are the least sexy thing a girl can wear...make girls like like "short, choppy trolls" (nice huh?) Guys called in for about a half hour agreeing... since then it's changed my view on cargo shorts unless you pair them with a shoe that does not make you look short.... JCP sells these funky wedge shoes with cork bottoms that would make you look taller and sexier... more like the J-Lo video and less like a short choppy troll :) ... but if you're not trying to impress any guys.. go for comfy :)
