What do you think are the most expensive and inexpensive sports?

My dad says that dancing is because i have to get 2 pairs of 80 dollar pointe shoes a month, bu thats his opinions- whats yours?(not including the cost to play the sport, well maybe, but equipment-really)

What do you think are the most expensive and inexpensive sports?
If you have to buy your equipment, I'd say football would be the most expensive. Most leagues for little kids supply all the pads and everything though. So, I'd go with baseball or lacrosse as being the most expensive. If you bought new equipment every year for those sports you could easily spend $500. I think soccer would be the most inexpensive. All you need is a pair of shoes and a cheap ball.
Reply:i think that it would be either football or baseball as the most expensive and i run track which is really cheap all you need is a pair of running shoes and spikes and some training clothes that wouldnt cost you much
Reply:i would think baseball, when i played and had to supply my own stuff i had an $80 glove, cleats where at leats $50 and my bat was around $200, plus lots of little things.
Reply:i think cheerleading is the most expensive, b/c i no at my school we pay $435 for our uniform, shoes, ribbons and all that stuff, then we have to pay between $40 to $100 dollars per cheerleader just to go to competition %26amp;%26amp; we usually go to about 1 competition a month. Its really crazy how much you have to pay!!!
Reply:lacrosse for boys is alot of money
Reply:mountain biking and bmx. the bike bythem selve are just 250 and up. then i saw this mountain bike that was 2,999 and that is becasue it was on sale.
Reply:yachting and thumb-wrestling
