What are soem good sport shoe brands???
NewBalance are very comfortable and they last a long time too.
Reply:like the guy before me said, it all depends on your foot. be sure to get the right width and equally as important the right arch support. I like wearing Nike's to the store because they look cool, but I have low arches and can't run in them. I ran in the military for nearly 8 years and always preferred Adidas. A lot of serious runners where Brooks. Remember that the rubber in the soles of shoes, no matter how clean they still look, break down no later than 6 months- 3 months with heavy running; so don't break the bank if you don't have to. I've heard a lot of good things about Saucony, New Balance, and my wife loves the Nike Air Max 180 so much I had to buy her 2 pairs. Keep in mind the fit is the number one priority.... Lookin good doesn't matter if you have to limp around because your shoe didn't provide the right support. You can also look at the soles of your old shoes to see if you roll your heel from the outside-in or vice-versa. Go to a runner's web-site to find out how to do that... It does make a difference as well.
Reply:If you are a runner, the brand doesn't matter. It's the fit for your foot that does. Some are a little wider, a little skinnier, more padded here or there. Depends on your arch, how you walk, what activity you will be doing. It's best to go to a running store, get measured and talk to "professionals". Oh, and when I say a "running store", I don't mean those hack shops at the mall. They are just trying to sell the latest style of sneak.
